National FFA Officers Visit Champion Ranch...

National FFA President, Zach Kinne and Southern Region FFA Vice President Brady Revels stopped by Champion Ranch for a tour. Kinne and Revels are visiting with the companies and individuals that have invested in Texas FFA to thank them for their continued support. The pair had dinner with Mr. Wallrath and his family and spent the night at the Camp House. They traveled to Houston to visit Champion Innovations, a company founded by Mr. Wallrath. They are planning more visits to Texas in the near future and we hope to see them back at the ranch soon!

Our New Addition...

Champion Ranch has added a new addition to it's operation.  The Champion Equine Center.  This facility is going to be the home to many horses passing through as they are part of a horse judging and training program at SHSU.

SHSU Training and Judging Program...

SHSU's Horsemanship Program, under the direction of Dr. Matt McMillan, is a great opportunity for students to experience hands on training with horses. They work hard to achieve the goals set for them and in the end are graded on their accomplishments.  Read More..

Mr. Wallrath attended the final semester presentation of the students. They are graded on their ability to perform the tasks that are individually outlined in a score sheet using a point system prepared by Dr. Matt McMillan. Read More..
